From the band's beginings in London in 1978, my approach to rhythm became an integral part of the Killing Joke sound - combining tribal repetition, dub, punk and industrial intensity.

NEW MUSIC • THE CURRENT CHAPTER

Formed in 2023, Light of Eternity brings together musicians from England and the United States creating music that is powerful, atmospheric and uncompromising - lyrically relevant and melodic, drawing on our individual histories while deliberately looking forward rather than back.

Since its formation LOE have continued to record and develop through live performance, touring the UK and Germany in 2025 both independently and in support of Ministry.

2026 saw the band headlining a tour in the UK.

Invited by Mark Gemini Thwaite to play drums on a collection of songs he had written and produced, with Chris Connelly writing the lyrics and providing vocals.

The project brought together three distinct musical perspectives with my contribution centered on bringing a physical, live rhythmic element to the recordings. 

SOLO WORK

My solo work as Big Paul Ferguson opened another chapter - taking experimental ideas into a more personal space.

Working with Mark Gemini Thwaite and released through Cleopatra Records, the albums bring together spoken word, rhythm, electronics and textural guitar exploring a dark musical territory.
